This crock pot honey garlic pork roast is so delicious, and can be prepared two ways – both easy! I love coming up with just the right combination of flavors that make a dish unique, but not so fancy that the kids won’t eat it. You will find this one listed in my Easy Meal Planning post with free printables, so be sure to check that out.
3 lb boneless pork loin roast
2 large pears, cut up (slices seem to work better than cubes)
1 shallot, chopped into large pieces
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup pear juice (I just grab a bottle from the baby food section)
3 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp dried rosemary
Stick all ingredients in the crock pot, drizzling the honey to spread it around. Cook on low for 8 hrs or high for 4 hrs. Enjoy! Oh, and leftovers make great sandwiches. 😀Â
ALTERNATE METHOD:
Bring to a boil all ingredients but pork in saucepan, then simmer for about 5 minutes. Marinate pork in mixture overnight in fridge. Grill.
